About Colombian Bites

 

Colombian Bites was founded in Glasgow by Ana Orsino and Andrés Moya and officially launched at the end of May 2025.

 

In a very short time, what began as a small street food stall has grown into a vibrant meeting point at The Barras Market, bringing the flavours, warmth and energy of Colombia to Scotland.

 

We specialise in freshly made arepas, empanadas and traditional Colombian dishes, all prepared with natural ingredients, homemade recipes and, above all, love. Everything is made with care, using authentic flavours and the kind of cooking that feels like home.

 

Beyond food, Colombian Bites is rooted in community. We actively support Colombian and Latin cultural events, collaborate with local artists and DJs, sponsor Colombian athletes in Glasgow, and contribute through food vouchers and community initiatives that help strengthen connections within the diaspora.

 

Built on hard work, authenticity and heart, Colombian Bites is our way of sharing culture through flavour, one plate at a time.
