Ana Laura Orsino
Ana Laura Orsino is Co-Founder of Colombian Bites Glasgow and a Risk Analyst professional working on major UK infrastructure projects.
With a background in Risk Management and award-winning academic research, she brings long-term vision and structure into the brand.
Living in Scotland since 2017, Ana has organised Latin cultural events and is passionate about building a South American food and cultural presence in the UK. She is also a mother of two and lead singer of a Latin band.
Andres Moya
Andrés Moya is Co-Founder of Colombian Bites Glasgow and leads the operational side of the business.
Born in Cali, Colombia, and based in Scotland since 2017, he brings discipline, resilience and consistency to the brand.
He is part of Scotland’s championship futsal team Ambassadors and was awarded Student Above and Beyond and Sport Person of the Year in 2024 for his leadership and commitment.
About Us
Colombian Bites was founded in Glasgow by Ana Orsino and Andrés Moya and officially launched at the end of May 2025.
In a very short time, what began as a small street food stall has grown into a vibrant meeting point at The Barras Market, bringing the flavours, warmth and energy of Colombia to Scotland.
We specialise in freshly made arepas, empanadas and traditional Colombian dishes, all prepared with natural ingredients, homemade recipes and, above all, love. Everything is made with care, using authentic flavours and the kind of cooking that feels like home.

Beyond our market stall, Colombian Bites delivers authentic Colombian food for private events, corporate catering, weddings and festivals across Scotland. We offer large party orders of our signature dishes, host pop-ups across the city, and proudly organise Feel Colombia — our own cultural festival celebrating Colombian food, music and community. We are also proud sponsors of local talent, supporting Ambassadors futsal team and a Colombian hockey player based in Glasgow.
